Australian Sovereign Space. Global Reach.
LC60 is an Australian-headquartered Earth intelligence company building the world's most advanced commercial Short-Wave Infrared satellite constellation. From our Perth manufacturing facility to subsidiary offices across three continents, we deliver decision-grade intelligence to allied governments and industry leaders.
Closing a structural gap in Earth observation.
LC60 was founded to close a structural gap in the global Earth observation market: the absence of high-resolution, commercially accessible, sovereign-grade SWIR imagery. Today, LC60 is a post-revenue Earth intelligence company with active contracts spanning national agriculture programmes, state government mapping, oil and gas emissions monitoring, and forthcoming defence and intelligence customers. Our SWIRSAT constellation enters operation in Q1 2027.
LC60 controls the full intelligence stack: satellite design and manufacturing, on-orbit processing, AI analytics, the EONET60 mission control platform, and sovereign data delivery. This vertical integration is what makes credible sovereign delivery possible — and what differentiates LC60 from data resellers and analytics overlays.
Every product we build replaces a guess with a measurement.
Defense-grade data security applies to every customer, not just governments.
The planet is the most important system we monitor. We treat it that way.
Complex satellite science delivered as a mobile alert a farmer can act on.

Common questions
LC60 AI was founded in 2019 and is headquartered in Perth, Western Australia. The leadership team is profiled in the Team section above. Day-to-day operations are run from Perth, with regional leadership in Kuala Lumpur and field teams across the Asia Pacific and Europe.
Australia gives LC60 three structural advantages: it sits inside the Five Eyes intelligence community and AUKUS framework; it has clear sky access, stable launch corridors, and a mature space industry policy environment; and it provides the legal and regulatory base for true sovereign operations. The Perth manufacturing facility puts hardware integration inside that jurisdiction by design.
LC60 is in active scale-up across satellite engineering, AI/ML, ground software, mission operations, and customer engagement. Open roles are listed on the careers page; we hire in Australia, Malaysia, and select remote locations for specialist roles.
LC60 operates to ISO 27001 (information security) and SOC 2 (security and availability) controls, with additional sovereign-overlay assessments performed for defence and intelligence engagements. The full certification posture is summarised in the Recognised. Validated. Supported. section above.
LC60 is a privately held Australian company. We work with both commercial and government customers, and we receive selective government co-investment for sovereign-capability programmes — but operational and editorial control of the company sits with the founding team, not with any single investor or agency.
SWIRSAT is being designed and integrated at LC60’s Perth facility, with launch services contracted from established orbital providers. Mission operations are conducted from Australian soil under Australian law.
Two things. First, the spectral focus: most commercial EO companies operate in the visible-light or radar bands. LC60 is built around Short-Wave Infrared (SWIR), which gives material-signature visibility that the other bands cannot. Second, the sovereignty model: we are built from first principles to operate under allied-government control, not as a pooled commercial-imagery vendor.
Live deployments are profiled in the Case Studies and Customer Stories sections of the site. For sensitive defence and intelligence engagements, references are available on a case-by-case basis to qualified prospects under NDA.
